Our story

Small blends, made with care

Hi, I'm Jane. Lumina Meadows began with a love of meadow flowers and the simple ritual of a good cup of tea. Every blend is hand-blended and packed here in the UK, using organic ingredients with nothing added and nothing hidden.

Our tea bags are biodegradable and our pouches reseal to keep every cup fresh. Whether you're winding down with camomile or starting the day with sencha, I hope you find a new favourite. And if you have a question, just message me on Etsy. I'm always happy to help.

The ritual

How to brew the perfect cup

  1. 1

    Heat

    Herbal teas love freshly boiled water. For sencha, let it cool to 70–80°C; for hojicha, 80–90°C.

  2. 2

    Steep

    One tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf) per 200–250ml cup. Herbals 3–5+ minutes; green teas 1–3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Sip & re-steep

    Enjoy plain or with honey or lemon. Most of our teas brew a lovely second cup, too.

How do I place an order?

Where do you deliver?

UK postage is free on every order, with no minimum spend. If you’re ordering from outside the UK, international postage costs are shown at checkout. Just tap Buy on Etsy and you’ll see delivery times for your address at checkout.

Are your teas caffeine free?

All of our herbal teas (camomile, peppermint, lavender, lemon balm, lemongrass and ginger) are naturally caffeine free. Our Japanese green teas do contain caffeine: sencha has a light amount, and roasted hojicha is naturally low in caffeine. Each tea is labelled in the shop.

Tea bags or loose leaf: what's the difference?

Our tea bags are biodegradable and quick and easy for every day. Each pouch of 15 makes up to 30 cups. Loose leaf (50g) gives the herbs more room to open, for a fuller, more aromatic cup and better value per cup.

Do you have allergen information?

Full ingredients are listed on every Etsy listing and on our packaging. If you have an allergy and want to check anything, please message us before ordering. If you're pregnant, taking medication or have any health concerns, please check with your doctor before trying a new herbal tea.
